Mathematics is a core school subject, and suitable teaching methods can improve both learning and performance. This study evaluated the efficiency and effectiveness of mathematics instruction using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The sample included 280 fourth-grade male students selected through cluster sampling and divided into 14 groups of 20 students. Each group received one of 14 teaching methods. Using content analysis and interviews with 15 experts, logical-mathematical intelligence, self-efficacy, metacognitive ability, and academic motivation were defined as inputs, while creativity in problem solving, mathematics score, academic achievement, and emotional impulse control were defined as outputs. The findings showed that integrated, skill-oriented, creative, active, learner-centered, game-based, exploratory, and group-oriented methods increased efficiency. STEM, project-based, and teacher-centered methods remained unchanged, while group discussion, lecture, and demonstration-oriented methods decreased efficiency.
